On April 5th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling is presenting their Sakura Genesis special from Ryōgoku Sumo Hall. The night prior, there is going to be a show at Korakuen Hall that will feature two championship matches.
It is official that Clark Connors will be challenging El Desperado for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship in a Hardcore match.
In addition to that, the duo of Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X are going to be challenging IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles.
Sakura Genesis on 4/5 will be headlined by the New Japan Cup winner challenging for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. The reigning champion Hirooki Goto’s next title defense is on 3/15 against Yuji Nagata.
