Sheamus is game to put on a ‘banger’ if Hendry wants it.

The WWE-TNA partnership is one that sees the talents from both companies regularly appearing on each other’s weekly programming.

That was on display in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match when TNA World Champion Joe Hendry entered the bout. Hendry entered at the #15 spot and lasted just over three minutes before being eliminated by Roman Reigns.

There was a moment during Hendry’s stint in the match when he laid out The Miz and began to hype the crowd up. Watching from the corner was Sheamus. Sheamus discussed sharing the ring with Hendry and the idea of wrestling him while participating in a Fanatics Live signing.

Yeah, you know, the last time I was in the ring actually was Royal Rumble and I have to say, I really got into that Joe Hendry and the whole thing. Having a blast…He has it down. If Joe Hendry wants to put on a banger, I’ll put on a banger with Joe Hendry.

Hendry is gearing up for a title defense at TNA Rebellion. He’ll be in a three-way with Frankie Kazarian and NXT’s Ethan Page.
