Priest is proud of what they did.
The second match of the evening on night two of WWE WrestleMania 41 was the Sin City Street Fight between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre.
After 13 minutes of the two talents putting each other through tables, hitting one another with the ring steps and going blow for blow, McIntyre emerged victorious.
The day after the bout, Priest was interviewed by Denise Salcedo and shared that he felt himself and McIntyre delivered. Priest added that he’s proud of what they did.
The match (at WrestleMania against Drew McIntyre), I thought we delivered. I thought for a WrestleMania match with the time we were given, we did our thing and look, our rivalry, I don’t care what anybody says, it has reason, it has story and it was heated and we had our beef and uh, you know, we went at it. We went hard too and which is what I was expecting. I know he was expecting it too and I think we had a performance worthy of a WrestleMania match and that being my first full singles match, I’m proud as hell.
