Cruz Montana has found some new friends on Monday Night Raw.
Montana showed up as part of this week’s episode of Raw from Brooklyn, New York, and joined one of the company’s fastest-growing factions: The 946. Showing up in a mask, Montana got involved in a brawl between 946 and The Bloodline.
Montana helped the heel faction prevail in the brawl, laying out Solo Sikoa, The Usos, and Roman Reigns as the show went off the air.
The moment marks Montana’s official main roster call-up. The former TNA World Champion spent the first few months of his WWE career in NXT, showing up to the brand in July.
Montana is likely to wrap up his time in NXT this Wednesday, when he finishes a rivalry with Dion Lennox through an unsanctioned match refereed by UFC fighter Michael Chandler.
Along with Montana, 946 consists of Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, Jaida Parker, and Carmelo Hayes.
