Lynch and Valkyria to clash at Backlash.
On the Raw after WrestleMania 41, Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria lost their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. The title loss came one day after they won the belts from Morgan and Rodriguez at WrestleMania.
After the loss, Lynch ambushed Valkyria and beat her down in the ring. Lynch appeared on the 4/28 Monday Night Raw and admitted she was the one who attacked Bayley which led to Valkyria needing a new partner for WrestleMania.
Lynch stated that Bayley has attacked her nonstop since 2019 and questioned if people want her to just forget that because Bayley has had a change of heart over the last year. Lynch then said that Valkyria had been cozying up to Bayley.
The Women’s Intercontinental Champion made her way out and said Bayley warned her about Lynch. Valkyria wanted to fight, but Lynch ran off. Valkyria then offered her a Women’s Intercontinental Title match at Backlash and Lynch accepted.
The two talents traded blows until Lynch ran off. As Valkyria was exiting the stage area, Lynch hit her from behind.
