Ryohei Oiwa accepts challenge from MJF for Wrestle Kingdom 21

One significant inter-promotional match is confirmed for Wrestle Kingdom 21.

Ryohei Oiwa was confronted by MJF for the second time following his tag win with Hartley Jackson against The Swirl at Power Struggle.

The match ended after Oiwa submitted Lee Johnson, and a video from MJF played inside Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall. The former AEW champion referred to Japan as “a third world country” and said that AEW is where the best wrestle; meanwhile, New Japan is where the best “leave”.

He offered to defend his Triple B at Wrestle Kingdom 21 on January 4 and will beat Oiwa with a simple side headlock takeover.

Oiwa accepted the challenge inside the ring and warned MJF not to disrespect New Japan Pro Wrestling.
