MJF proved his worth to The Hurt Syndicate at AEW Double or Nothing, helping them retain the Tag Team Titles.
Their opponents, ROH Tag Champions Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes, faced frequent interference from MJF.
Not all went smoothly, however, as a distraction by Max aimed at helping Lashley and Benjamin allowed Rhodes to hit the Unnatural Kick.
MJF then offered the Dynamite diamond ring to Benjamin, telling him he was taking too long. Lashley was having none of it, teasing some tension.
That was defused when Lashley embraced MJF later.

The finish came with Benjamin pinning Guevara after Rhodes was speared through the barricade by Lashley.
