AEW’s Will Ospreay is “doing great” six weeks after his recent neck surgery, according to his rehab clinic.

Saminder Singh of The Body Alignment Clinic in Essex, England, posted the update on Saturday. The Instagram post included photos of Ospreay undergoing treatment and an X-ray showing surgical screws in his neck vertebrae.

Singh noted Ospreay was “doing great!” but added, “Still some way to go […] but we’re on the right road.”

The post also included a cryptic tease for the future: “Jan 2026 ?”

Ospreay, 32, has been off AEW television since late August, following his last match at Forbidden Door. He announced on the August 20 episode of  Dynamite that he required surgery to correct herniated discs pressing on his spinal cord.

Ospreay competed days later at the London event in an unsanctioned 10-man Lights Out Steel Cage match. His team was victorious, but Ospreay was subsequently attacked by members of the Death Riders.

The angle concluded with Ospreay leaving on a stretcher to write him off television for the surgery.

No official timetable for Ospreay’s return has been announced by AEW.
