Konosuke Takeshita & Kazuchika Okada vs. Max Caster & Anthony Bowens

The show opened with Don Callis Family members Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada facing the dysfunctional team of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. Both partnerships showed significant friction throughout the match.

Takeshita and Okada argued repeatedly, with Okada at one point refusing a tag and gesturing dismissively at Takeshita. Caster and Bowens also bickered, leading to blind tags and arguments over who was the legal man.

The match concluded when Takeshita shoved Okada out of the way to hit Caster with a forearm and the Raging Fire for the pinfall. Callis entered the ring to mediate between his two champions and prevent a post-match fight.

Backstage segments

A video package aired featuring Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa, focusing on their new partnership for the women’s tag team tournament.

Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron also appeared in a promo, discussing their own upcoming tournament match against Mercedes Moné and Athena.

CMLL World Women’s Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Olympia

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné defended her CMLL World Women’s Championship against Olympia. Moné’s opponent for Full Gear, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander, was on commentary.

Olympia used her strength advantage, at one point hoisting Moné up in a one-armed gorilla press. During the action, Moné threw Olympia into Statlander at the commentary desk.

Moné retained her title, forcing Olympia to submit to the Statement Maker. Moné and Statlander stared each other down after the match.

A backstage segment taped after Dynamite aired, showing Don Callis approaching The Young Bucks. Callis offered them a “Million Dollar Trios Match” at Full Gear on November 22. The match will see The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander face Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus) and Kenny Omega.

Rene Paquette later confirmed the participants for the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match on November 12. The team of Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Mercedes Moné, Marina Shafir, and Megan Bayne will face Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Queen Aminata, and Harley Cameron. It was noted that Penelope Ford is out with a UCL injury and was replaced in the match.

The men’s Blood & Guts teams were also finalized for the November 12 Dynamite. The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, & PAC) are set to face Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, & Mark Briscoe.

Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir vs. Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize

The new team of Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir, accompanied by Penelope Ford, had their first match against Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize. Jon Moxley joined the commentary team to support Bayne and Shafir.

Newell and Alize used quick tags to get an early advantage before Bayne stopped their momentum with a double German suplex. Bayne and Shafir secured a quick victory when Bayne hit a running Liger Bomb on Newell while Shafir submitted Alize.

Komander, Mark Briscoe & Roderick Strong vs. LFI

Mark Briscoe, Roderick Strong, and Komander (filling in for an injured Hologram) faced LFI members Sammy Guevara, The Beast Mortos, and Dralístico.

The six-man tag featured several high-impact spots, including Briscoe hitting a twisting corkscrew moonsault onto all three LFI members on the floor. Briscoe won the match for his team, pinning Dralístico after a Jay Driller.

Post-Dynamite recaps

A video recap showed Hangman Adam Page’s attack on Samoa Joe from Fright Night Dynamite.

A separate post-show segment from Dynamite was shown, featuring Eddie Kingston encouraging Hook after his loss. Kingston told Hook to “live to fight another day.”

MxM TV Casting Call

Mason Madden and Mansoor hosted their “Casting Call” open challenge, with Madden dressed as Taya Valkyrie and Mansoor as Johnny TV.

The Bang Bang Gang (Ace Austin, Austin Gunn, and Juice Robinson) answered the challenge. The trio won the brief match after Gunn hit a Famouser on Mansoor, followed by The Fold from Austin, which allowed Robinson to get the pin.

ROH World Championship: Bandido (c) vs. Mascara Dorada

The main event was a defense of the ROH World Championship, as Bandido faced challenger Mascara Dorada in a rematch from Arena Mexico earlier in the year.

The match was characterized by complex lucha libre counters and high-flying offense. Highlights included Bandido hitting a one-handed press slam and Dorada landing a shooting star press from the ring post to the floor.

Bandido ultimately retained his title, pinning Dorada after hitting the 21-Plex. After the match, the two competitors showed respect and hugged in the ring.
