Daniel Garcia has selected the charity MusiCares to receive the $100,000 donation attached to his Butcher Battle Royal victory.
Garcia won the main event of Saturday’s special edition of AEW Collision, which was dedicated to the life of Andy “The Butcher” Williams.
AEW stipulated that the battle royal winner could choose a charity to receive $100,000 from the company in Williams’ name.
"Nights like tonight showed how many lives he impacted."

In a video posted after the show, Garcia said MusiCares was a cause important to Williams.
Andy loved helping people. He loved music and he loved professional wrestling.
And there’s a charity that he loves called MusiCares.org. And we’ll be donating all the proceeds, all the winnings tonight, the whole 100K to MusiCares.org in the name of Andy Williams.
Garcia added that he hoped the donation would help artists and “push music and people forward.”
MusiCares provides financial assistance and preventive services to people working throughout the music industry. Its programs include support for mental health, addiction recovery, healthcare and basic living needs, as well as financial wellness resources and disaster relief.
Williams spent more than two decades as a guitarist of Every Time I Die before the band dissolved in 2022. He later returned to music with Atomic Rule while continuing his professional wrestling career.
Garcia, a fellow Buffalo native, said during Collision that he regarded Williams as an older brother and revealed that Williams gave him his “Red Death” nickname.
