Liv Morgan regained the Women’s World Championship by defeating Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match at WWE Money in the Bank.

Morgan pinned Vaquer after hitting Oblivion to win the title on Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

The three wrestlers traded control throughout the match, with Vaquer and Lynch initially working together to take out Morgan before turning on each other.

Vaquer came close to retaining after hitting Morgan with the Vaquer Inferno from the top rope.

Lynch prevented the pin by pulling referee Jessika Carr out of the ring before the three-count, leading to another fight between Lynch and Vaquer at ringside.

A table that Lynch had introduced earlier in the match then became part of the finish.

Vaquer hit Lynch with a meteora in the corner and later superkicked her from the apron onto the table at ringside. The table did not break, but the move left Vaquer alone in the ring with Morgan.

Morgan immediately took advantage and hit Oblivion on Vaquer for the three-count.

The result begins Morgan’s latest reign with the Women’s World Championship.

Vaquer had regained the title from Morgan at an untelevised event in Santiago, Chile, on September 12, with Lynch serving as special guest referee.

Morgan had previously ended Vaquer’s first reign at WrestleMania 42 in April.
