On Thursday’s ROH War of the Worlds cards in Toronto, Shane Taylor won the ROH Television title in a Four-Way Survival match by pinning Brody King.

The match saw Jeff Cobb enter the match as champion and defend the title against Taylor, King, and Hirooki Goto. It ended with Taylor hitting Greetings from 216 onto King for the win with Cobb losing his title but not taking the fall.

It was Cobb’s second title loss in the past week after dropping the NEVER Openweight title to Taichi last Friday in Fukuoka at the Wrestling Dontaku card.

ROH announced earlier in the day that the four corner survival match was turned into a title match.

The main event featured Matt Taven retaining the ROH title over PCO after using the purple spike behind the referee’s back. PCO bled throughout the match and did his signature spots, including the moonsault and somersault onto the edge of the apron.

ROH is returning to Toronto on Friday, August 9th at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, which is also SummerSlam weekend in the city.

RESULTS:
*Guerrillas of Destiny & Hikuleo over Alex Coughlin, Karl Fredericks & Clark Connors
*Yuji Nagata over Silas Young by DQ
*EVIL & Sanada over Vinny Marseglia & TK O’Ryan
*The Briscoes over Mark Haskins & Tracy Williams
*Jay Lethal over Satoshi Kojima
