The NWA received backlash from Tuesday’s airing of Power as the group pulled down the show and has edited out an offensive remark by Jim Cornette.

During the match between Nick Aldis and Trevor Murdoch, Cornette used a line stating:

Trevor Murdoch is mad, bad and dangerous to know. He’s the only man that I’ve ever known that can strap a bucket of fried chicken around his back and ride a motor scooter across Ethiopia. Trevor Murdoch can take care of himself.

The show streamed on the promotion’s YouTube and Facebook channels but was pulled after its airing with Executive Vice President David Lagana issuing a statement apologizing for the remark being left in the broadcast:

On tonight’s episode of NWA Powerr airing on November 19th 2019, one of our talents made comments which some viewers found offensive. We deeply regret the error and apologize. We have temporarily taken the program down while we correct this error.

The episode has been edited with the line by Cornette muted.
