Mercedes Martinez in action, Scott vs. Reed, Breezango announced for NXT

NXT is one week out from their New Year's Evil show and several additions were made to the New Year's Evil go-home show on 12/30.

NXT’s 12/30 show is their go-home show for New Year’s Evil on 1/6 which is being headlined by Finn Balor vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the NXT Championship. Multiple additions were made to tonight’s program including Mercedes Martinez returning to in-ring action after her surprise return to the brand last week. Prior to last week, Mercedes was last featured on NXT several months ago as she was moved to the main roster to be a part of the RETRIBUTION group.

Bronson Reed is scheduled to go one-on-one with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and along with that match, Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) will clash with former NXT U.K. Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake). NXT will also air a video package about the history between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Gonzalez who are competing in a Last Woman Standing match at New Year’s Evil.

Here’s the updated lineup for tonight’s episode of NXT TV:

– Roderick Strong vs. Pete Dunne
– Bronson Reed vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott

– NXT Year-End Award winners to be revealed
