KENTA appears on AEW Dynamite, attacks Jon Moxley

KENTA returned the favor and ambushed Jon Moxley on his home turf ahead of their IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title match later this month.

Jon Moxley, the current IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion appeared on a recent episode of NJPW Strong and ambushed his future opponent KENTA. In the main event of AEW Beach Break, the trio of Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated Moxley, Rey Fenix and PAC. After the bout, Moxley was standing behind a prone Omega as he was waiting for Kenny to get to his feet.

Before Moxley got the chance to take Omega out, he was attacked by IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Title match contract holder, KENTA of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. KENTA versus Jon Moxley is official for The New Beginning in USA on February 26th.

This is the first time that a New Japan contracted talent appeared on Dynamite. Jon Moxley has been IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion since January of 2020. His 365-day plus reign will be on the line come several weeks from now.
