Date confirmed for the 2022 CyberFight Festival.

It is confirmed that the CyberFight Festival is returning this year for a second installment and it is taking place on June 12th at Saitama Super Arena. The CyberFight Festival is a show that consists of talents from all promotions under the CyberFight umbrella such as Pro Wrestling NOAH, DDT Pro Wrestling, Ganbare Pro-Wrestling and Tokyo Joshi Pro.

CyberFight President Sanshiro Takagi was in attendance for the press conference and feels that the past year has allowed for each of the respective promotions to grow. He thinks this year’s Festival will top last year’s show.

Last year’s festival showed the colors of each organization and also had ideological struggles, and I think it became a festival worthy of it. I thought there would be exchange[s] and other things from there, but I think this past year has been a year for each group to develop their own strength. I’m sure it will be something where we can show each other our further growth, and I think it will be more interesting than last year’s, so I hope you can look forward to it.

Takagi added that there are specifics about the show that are still being worked out. He recently dove into his plans for DDT’s U.S. expansion and to read his comments, click here.
