West Coast/East Coast

We start the show with footage from last week of Real 1 attacking Jacob Fatu. We cut to a bloody Fatu backstage who questions Real 1 attacking him from behind and embarrassing him in front of his family including his son being in the crowd. Fatu talks about being from the West Side, and the only hard people to come out of New Jersey were the Outlawz, and they were with 2Pac the whole time. Fatu says Real 1 might have come up the same way as him, but he has never run into a Polynesian Samoan uce before and tells him to put that on the list.

Real 1 vs. Lince Dorado

Commentary brings up how Real 1 doesn’t shy away from hijacking shows, and they can ask ROH and NJPW. Real 1 does his introduction with his new name and calls this town “Filth-A-Delphia’ with zero dimes, ‘sixers’ at best. Real 1 talks about Ricky Morton getting his ass kicked just like the Eagles, before calling his opponent ‘Lince Burrito’. They battle with a lock-up until Real 1 takes him down with a side headlock. They go back and forth with mat submissions until Real 1 grabs the bottom rope. Dorado starts working on Real 1’s arm, but Real 1 gets out and avoids another submission. They fight on the ropes until Real 1 snaps Dorado’s neck on the ropes and follows with a scoop slam, elbow drop, and leg drops before going into a chin lock. Dorado comes back with a head scissors, mocks Real 1, and knocks him to the outside where he hits him with a suicide dive. They head back inside where Dorado hits a flying forearm for a two count. Dorado goes back to the top rope but gets knocked to the outside and starts clutching his right knee as they go to the commercial.

When they come back, they are fighting on the barricade where Real 1 hits Dorado with a Razor’s Edge into a ring post. They mention how MLW Fusion will now air Wednesdays at 9 pm on Ayozat TV in the UK. Real 1 continues to kick at Dorado, sending him into the corner as Dorado gets out and hits a German Suplex. Dorado stays in control, but Real 1 comes back with a top-rope DDT for a two-count. Real 1 heads back to the top rope, but Dorado takes him down and hits a springboard stunner. Dorado follows with two moonsaults off the ropes but misses the third one. Real 1 grabs the ropes and gets the referee distracted as he kicks Dorado down low and hits DunZo for the pin and the win.

Winner: Real 1 by pinfall at 9:58

The Queen of Queens

David Marquez is backstage with Taya Valkyrie and brings up how she’s the only female athlete that’s holding titles in AAA, IMPACT, and MLW. Marquez asks if she’s taking these titles all over the world and she says absolutely and wants to defend them everywhere in Australia, England, Canada, Mexico, anywhere they can find her and take it one-on-one with the Queen of Queens.

Mance Warner Returning

We see a video of the ‘Southern Psycho, Ole Mancer’ Mance Warner and says he is coming soon to MLW with ‘lariats and light beers’.

Next Week – Kings of Colosseum

·       MLW World Heavyweight Championship: Alex Hammerstone (c) vs. Richard Holliday (w/ Alicia Atout)

The Sound Bite

Backstage, someone is trying to ask Alicia Atout about next week’s big fight, and she says she’s busy on the phone and she’s the interviewer, not the interviewee. She gives a sound bite anyway, that Alex Hammerstone and the Von Erichs better be ready for anything.

The Thrilla in Philla

We see the rules for Alex Kane’s challenge.

·       Any member of the MLW roster can step up and accept the prizefight

·       $20,000 purse to any fighter that can step up and defeat the champ in the allotted time

·       The National Openweight Championship is on the line

Alex Kane and Mr. Thomas get in the ring as Kane grabs the mic and says he is the greatest fighter in MLW history. Thomas brings up every fighting style that has gone down to Kane. Kane says the Bomaye Fight Club is for the people so tonight he has a treat for everybody in a 20-minute fight for his championship. Kane said he put out the challenge, but nobody has answered it and he thinks Philly has gone soft. Thomas says nothing is hard about this town and they are soft like the Sixers and Eagles. Kane again asks who will accept the challenge for Suplex Island as Davey Richards’ music eventually hits.

MLW National Openweight Championship: Alex Kane (c) (w/ Mr. Thomas) vs. Davey Richards

They start the match fast, running the ropes and Richards going for the ankle lock right away, but Kane escapes to the outside and regroups with Mr. Thomas. They go into a test of strength, as Richards starts working on Kane’s arm. Kane comes right back with a wrist lock before Richards escapes and regroups in the corner. They go right back to trying to take each other down before Richards traps Kane’s arm in the ropes and kicks it, knocking Kane to the outside. Richards chases him right away and kicks him against the barricade numerous times. Richards tries after running all the way down the stage, but Kane catches him and drops him on the apron where he hits him with a splash as they announce five minutes have elapsed so far. Kane works at Richards in the corner with chops and shoulder blocks before hitting a backbreaker. Kane stays in control hitting offense and going for pin attempts. Richards counters a piledriver attempt and hits a double stomp on a sunset flip. They get into a forearm exchange with kicks as ten minutes have elapsed now. Richards’ dragon screws Kane’s leg in the ropes, heads to the top rope, but misses a dive, grabs Kane, and puts on the Trailer Hitch, but eventually grabs the bottom rope with a little help from Thomas. Richards escapes out of a suplex and hits a kick and a suplex of his own for a two count. Kane catches Richards in a handspring, hits a German Suplex, and the Angle Slam for a two count as 15 minutes have elapsed. They head to the top rope, where Richards hits headbutts and a superplex as both men are laid out and they go to commercial.

When we come back, both men are face to face before another forearm exchange with boots. Richards blocks a suplex attempt and puts on an ankle lock, but Kane kicks out just to get a Pele kick as they announce the two-minute warning. Richards hits a brain buster for a two-count and goes right into another ankle lock. Kane struggles as Richards transitions into the Trailer Hitch but the clock counts down to end the match.

Winner: The match ends in a time limit draw at 20:00. As a result, Alex Kane retains.

Myron Reed Joins the Bomaye Fight Club

Davey Richards goes to help Alex Kane up but gets attacked from behind by Mr. Thomas. Kane and Thomas continue to attack Richards until Myron Reed runs out with a chair, for the save chasing Thomas and Kane to the outside. As Richards gets up, Reed winks to Kane and Thomas and hits Richards with the chair. Kane, Reed, and Thomas all start attacking Richards including trapping his arm in a chair and Reed jumping off the top rope with a stomp onto it. Thomas hands Reed a Bomaye Fight Club jacket and puts it on him making him the newest member.

The New Face of Mads Krugger

We close with a video showing Mads Krugger on a surgery table as the doctor apologizes and says he is sorry and there is nothing he can do. He hands Krugger a mirror, which he looks in and breaks the mirror after looking at his new face and screams in terror.
