Mask vs. Career match removed from Rampage, replaced by title match

The Mask vs. Career match between Preston “10” Vance and Andrade El Idolo is off.

AEW President Tony Khan announced Wednesday evening that the match is no longer scheduled for Friday’s live edition of Rampage but did not specify why the match has been removed.

In its place, a Trios Championship match will occur with Death Triangle defending their titles against Dark Order, which will include Vance on the team.

Earlier this week, Andrade had engaged in a back-and-forth exchange with Sammy Guevara that stemmed from an interview Andrade did with Mas Lucha claiming that Guevara complained about Andrade hitting him too hard during a match.

Rampage will air live on Friday night from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. followed by a live Battle of the Belts IV special on TNT.
