Maki Itoh is set to make her MLW debut in September at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The promotion has announced Itoh’s arrival in MLW at the Fury Road event in Philadelphia against B3CCA with the winner becoming the #1 contender for the Women’s Featherweight Championship, which is held by Delmi Exo.

Itoh, 28, wrestles for Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and has been a regular on the U.S. scene wrestling for AEW and Game Changer Wrestling. This past weekend, Itoh wrestled Vert Vixen for the DEFY Women’s Championship in Seattle.
