Bianca Belair has shared some facts regarding her hiatus from WWE programming.

The former women’s champion and WrestleMania headliner spoke with Metro.co.uk and stated and confirmed the hiatus and her reasoning for taking time off:

Right now, it was just some self-care. We did some things with us personally that I’m so excited about, it has to do with the future.

Belair added that she is also working on a children’s book and a reality series starring Belair and Montez Ford is set to premiere on Hulu in the coming months.

Belair has not wrestled since the August 18 edition of Friday Night SmackDown where she teamed with Charlotte Flair against Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY & Bayley in Toronto, Ontario.

The 34-year-old is a multiple-time women’s champion and headlined the first night of WrestleMania 37 in April 2021 against Sasha Banks after Belair won that year’s women’s Royal Rumble match.
