Under his new ring name of Lexis King, Brian Pillman Jr made his in-ring debut for NXT on Friday.

The 30-year-old defeated Brooks Jensen at the show in Largo, Florida.

Pillman revealed his new name in a promo on NXT television this past Tuesday. The name pays tribute to his late sister, Alexis, and his stepfather, whose surname is King.

People attending Friday’s show shared photographs and footage of King’s debut on social media.

Pillman signed with WWE after his contract with AEW expired in July.
