Starr says they’ve been filming the series for almost a year.

NWA owner Billy Corgan revealed that the organization signed two television deals and added that their programming will be featured on a top 20 network.

That was followed up on by Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling who reported that the top 20 network Corgan is referring to is The CW. The report noted that the two TV deals are for two different products, one being Powerrr and the other is a reality series about the day-to-day and behind the scenes business of NWA.

The reality series portion was confirmed by NWA talent Samantha Starr. She was invited onto Perched On The Top Rope and revealed that they’ve been filming the series on and off for almost a year.

For myself and the rest of the roster, we have been plugging and pushing and trudging along on YouTube and using FITE TV for our pay-per-views. But, for this nationwide and in some cases worldwide platform, it is a huge opportunity to put the NWA on the map and compete with the top companies in the world (Starr said about NWA signing two TV deals). So, for myself, I am over the moon excited. We’ve got the reality show that we’ve been filming off and on for almost a year now and then we also have the wrestling platform as well so huge things coming from NWA in the very near future.

NWA presented their latest pay-per-view, Samhain, on October 28th. Starr was in action on the pre-show. She emerged victorious from a four-way number one contender’s match.

With the victory, she earned a shot at Kenzie Paige’s NWA World Women’s Championship.
