Chris Jericho flipped over tables and yelled at reporters at a DDT press conference on Saturday to promote his match with Konosuke Takeshita.

Jericho is in Japan for Sunday’s DDT Ultimate Party event, when he will square off with Takeshita.

During the press conference, Takeshita said Jericho was as “asshole,” and later Jericho whispered something in his opponent’s ear.

Jericho then dispensed with his microphone and yelled:

What I just said to him is between me and him. Nobody else. No f–king reporters are going to hear it. No fans are going to hear it. I just told him what’s going to happen tomorrow. And I believe it in my heart. You want to talk about a new era? The Chris Jericho era is just beginning. F–k!

He then upended tables and a lectern, shoved a camera, and left the room, shouting at people to get out of the way.

DDT Ultimate Party, at Tokyo’s Ryogoku Sumo Hall, will also feature Saki Akai’s final match.
