AEW’s Holiday Bash sees drop in viewership, lowest since Oct. 24

AEW’s Holiday Bash edition of Dynamite saw a drop off from Winter is Coming and its lowest viewership over the past two months.

The December 20 edition from Oklahoma City averaged 782,000 viewers and 347,000 (0.26) in the 18-49 demographic – decreases of 8% and 12% respectively from the prior week, per Wrestlenomics.

It was Dynamite’s lowest viewership since October 24 but only a two-week low in the 18-49 audience.

In the 18-49 demo, the major drop was among women, which fell from 115,000 to 88,000 or 24% from last week.

In the 18-34 demographic, the category fell 16% to 138,000 with women falling from 54,000 to 38,000 or 30% from last week.

Adults 35-49 decreased by 8% with females decreasing by 18% to 50,000.

In Canada, Dynamite averaged 96,000 viewers and 44,000 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2 and ranked fifth among sports programs on Wednesday.

Dynamite featured the final round-robin matches in the Gold League portion of the Continental Classic and was headlined by Jay White beating Jon Moxley.
