The UFC and WWE are to hold events at the same venue over Presidents’ Day weekend.

The Honda Center in Anaheim, California, will play host to both UFC 298 on Saturday, February 17th, and WWE Raw on Monday, February 19th.

The tie-up was promoted on X as: “UFC and WWE Takeover Anaheim”. The post from the UFC continues: “Two Big Events. One Epic Holiday Weekend.”

A link to the Honda Center website is included in the post. Combo tickets costing $285 are on sale for upper-center seating at both events.

UFC 298 is scheduled to be headlined by Alexander Volkanovski (c) vs. Ilia Topuria for the World Featherweight Championship.

Both UFC and WWE have been part of TKO Group Holdings since September 2023.

UFC President Dana White told POST Wrestling’s John Pollock at the UFC 297 press conference last Saturday night:

Let’s take a city like New York, Los Angeles, and any of the major cities and you have both events the same weekend, right?

I think you’re gonna bring in a lot of people that aren’t the same people, and I think it would be very big for some of these major cities.

I think what you’re looking for is an economic impact. You want hotels to be sold out, you want restaurants to be filled, you want people out shopping and hanging out and, yeah, I think that the WWE, the UFC, and a lot of other of our properties could definitely do that.
