AEW Int’l Championship to be defended on Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling show

The AEW International Championship will be defended this weekend during the first set of shows for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.

The promotion announced on Monday that new champion Konosuke Takeshita will defend the title against Josh Alexander on the second night of this weekend’s cards in Windsor, Ontario.

Takeshita won the International title at WrestleDream on Saturday by defeating Will Ospreay and Ricochet in a triple-threat match.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling will run its “Forged in Excellence” events this Saturday & Sunday, which stream on Triller TV.
