Uso expresses that he is locked in no matter the spot.

With winning the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match, Jey Uso choose to challenge GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.

The night on which their match will take place has not been publicly announced, but Uso addressed that and where the match could be placed on the card(s) as he was interviewed by Daily Mail. He expressed that he does not care if the bout opens or closes the show.

WrestleMania, night one or night two, whichever match I’m on. I don’t care if I’m on last, I don’t care if I open it up. I’m going to go out there and they’re going to remember my match, so that’s all I’m focused on. This is a once-in-a-lifetime shot. That’s how I’m looking at it, because this might not ever, ever come back around in my career.

As of this writing, here is the updated WrestleMania 41 lineup:

  • Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
  • WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
  • WWE World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Jey Uso
  • WWE Women’s World Championship: IYO SKY (c) vs. Bianca Belair
