Coming up on May 10th is WWE’s Backlash Premium Live Event. As the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw was airing, it was announced that Dominik Mysterio will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against Penta at Backlash.
On the Raw after WrestleMania, the returning J.D. McDonagh helped Mysterio retain his title over Penta.
On the 5/5 Raw, Penta scored a victory over McDonagh. As of this writing, here’s the updated Backlash lineup:
- Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. Randy Orton
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch
- GUNTHER vs. Pat McAfee
