Gunther will appear on tonight’s go-home episode of WWE Raw before Backlash.
WWE posted a video with Adam Pearce announcing that Gunther’s storyline suspension has been “lifted” and will appear on the show in a face-to-face segment with Pat McAfee before their match on Saturday.

On the April 21 episode of Raw, Gunther attacked McAfee, which led to the storyline suspension and led to a match announcement on last week’s show. It will be McAfee’s first singles match since WrestleMania 39 in April 2023.
Tonight’s show will also feature IYO SKY facing Roxanne Perez in a non-title match, Penta taking on JD McDonagh, and Rusev against Otis.
Additionally, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker will appear with Paul Heyman, and Becky Lynch will address Lyra Valkyria.
Raw takes place at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
