Janai Kai is a free agent.
The 30-year-old confirmed that she is no longer under a deal with MLW and thanked the promotion on X.
Kai was MLW’s featherweight champion for over a year when she won the belt from Delmi Exo in October 2023 and dropped it back to Exo this past January at Kings of Colosseum.
Kai debuted for MLW at its Slaughterhouse event in September 2023, where she won the title and became a member of Contra Unit. It was reported last August that she had signed with the group.
