Sami Callihan has confirmed that he is done with TNA and is the latest name on the way out.
Earlier in the day, TNA announced it was undergoing a “workforce reduction,” and PWinsider.com reported that Callihan was leaving the promotion.
On Wednesday, Callihan confirmed that he had received a call and been let go.
Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope. I’ve parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure.
Callihan had his last match last August, losing a Baltimore Street Fight to Mike Santana, and transitioned to a behind-the-scenes role as a producer with the company. He still runs the Wrestling REVOLVER promotion in Ohio.
It comes on the same day that Tommy Dreamer announced his exit from TNA and follows departures by Tessa Blanchard, Steve Maclin, Dani Luna, and Myla Grace.
