This week’s episode of Raw remained largely unchanged from last week as they went against a stronger Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.

The three-hour episode of Raw averaged 2,136,000 viewers on the USA Network, essentially flat from last week’s average of 2,133,000 viewers. This week was their fourth-lowest number of the year.

The major difference that Monday Night Football was up 40% from last week’s game, which was the least-watched Monday night game of the season and this week was the highest. The Cowboys vs. Giants game did 13,979,000 viewers on ESPN.

Raw opened with 2,351,000 viewers for the first hour of the show and dropped 6% in the second hour to 2,207,000 viewers. The final hour dropped 16%, which built towards the main event match between Adam Cole and Seth Rollins for the NXT title.

The third-hour average of 1,849,000 viewers was the second-lowest performance for any hour of Raw in 2019. The only hour that fell below was the third-hour figure on September 9th from Madison Square Garden that went against the first Monday Night Football game of the current season.

Compared to last week, the key demographics held up and were up among several groups. Over the three hours, Raw did a 0.76 among people 18-49 (up 5.5%), a 0.56 among females 18-49 (up 14%) and 0.37 among females 12-34 (up 9%). The only significant drop was males 12-34 which was down 8.5% from last week.

In breaking down the three hours, there were major drops from hour one to hour three. The biggest was females 18-49 that dropped 22% from the first to the third hour, males 18-49 dropped 21%, people 25-54 fell 20% and people over 50 dropped 18%. The main demo of people 18-49 fell 21% during the show.
