Lexis King ambushes Trey Bearhill, replaces him in NXT men’s Breakout tournament

Lexis King is entering the Breakout tournament.

The men’s Breakout tournament kicked off on the 12/12 episode of NXT on USA Network. As the participants were being introduced, Lexis King attacked Trey Bearhill with a chair.

Bearhill was scheduled to compete in the tournament, but is now out. As of late, Ava has taken on an authority figure role on TV and has been a spokesperson for Shawn Michaels. She relayed to Lexis that he’ll be replacing Bearhill in the tournament because other participants want him in the tourney so they can get their hands on him.

This past Saturday at NXT Deadline, King lost to Carmelo Hayes in singles competition.

Following the match, King got on the microphone and shared that he had nothing to do with Trick Williams being ambushed in October, but he added himself to the equation so he could be spotlighted on a Premium Live Event.
