He is choosing to focus on Japan.

Taking to his personal Facebook page, Daga thanked Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide for his time with the company and he’s grateful for the opportunities he was presented with.

He went on to add that it’s time for him to continue his dreams and commit himself to wrestling in Japan and working with Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Daga debuted for NOAH in February 2023. Along the way, him and Chris Ridgeway became GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. The titles were vacated in September after Ridgeway had to depart Japan due to personal reasons.

As of this writing, Daga is the current GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion. He won the title from HAYATA in November.

Dating back to 2012, Daga worked dates for AAA. He most recently wrestled at their joint event with Promociones EMW in September and prior to that, he competed in the four-way Mega Championship match at Triplemanía XXXI: Mexico City.
