The WWE United States Champion will head to America’s most popular motorsport tour this weekend.

Chelsea Green will serve as the celebrity pace car driver for Sunday’s NASCAR Pennzoil 400 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as announced on Monday afternoon.

The event will see Green appear in Las Vegas just one month before WWE takes over the city for Wrestlemania 41.

Green joins a not-insignificant list of WWE talent who have stepped into the pack-leading pace car at a NASCAR event.

In 2019, Charlotte Flair drove the honorary pace car at the 2019 Coca-Cola 600 (Charlotte Motor Speedway), and Matt Hardy did the same at the 2018 NASCAR Can-Am 500 (ISM Raceway).

Braun Strowman was scheduled to drive the honorary pace car at the Wurth 400 (Dover Motor Speedway) in 2023, but a rain delay prevented him from doing so.

Green successfully retained her United States title last weekend, overcoming Michin in a street fight match.
