High praise from Parker to Michin.

During the summer of 2024, Jaida Parker and Michin crossed paths in WWE NXT and they had two singles matches. Michin got the win in their first match and the second go-around was a Street Fight that saw Parker get the win.

Parker looks back fondly on the Street Fight and she expressed that during her appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast with O’Shea Jackson Jr. & T.J. Jefferson. She feels the match put her name on the map and helped her understand the wrestling business.

The second match would have to be my first Street Fight with Michin. I feel like it put my name on the map because there were a lot of questions about me. No one really knew who I was at the time. I’m still, like you said, a newcomer and everything but that one really — it was like that stepping stool to my next one and I have to thank Michin for that most definitely with all my heart because that match, I understood the business if that makes sense. That match made me understand it a lot.

Parker competed in her first Royal Rumble in February. To read what she had to say about the experience, click here.
