There were multiple factions Hirsch feels she would have fit well in.

After several years under the AEW/ROH banner, Leyla Hirsch exited the company as her deal expired. She is now a free agent and spoke about her time in AEW while guest appearing on The Bob Culture Podcast

The idea of Hirsch joining the Team Taz faction that once existed in AEW which included Taz, HOOK, Brian Cage, Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs. Hirsch thinks the idea of her being a part of the group crossed everyone’s mind.

She did approach Taz about it but nothing came of it. Hirsch also feels she would have been a good fit for the Blackpool Combat Club.

I feel like it crossed everybody’s minds (Hirsch said about idea of her joining Team Taz). Even like, I feel like the top people in AEW. I even at one point asked Taz myself. It never happened. Because I truly believe it was such a perfect fit as well. Everybody did. Everybody. I think that would have been a great fit and even joining BCC. That would have been an amazing thing too. There were several groups or factions that I would have been such a good fit but, you know, it is what it is. It’s okay.

Hirsch made her in-ring return on 4/17 at GCW/Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII. She scored a victory over Jordan Blade.
