WWE’s Natalya loses title shot to Kenzie Paige at NWA Crockett Cup

Competing as Nattie Neidhart, WWE’s Natalya was unsuccessful at Saturday night’s NWA Crockett Cup event.

She was competing against the current NWA Women’s Champion Kenzie Paige at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. It was Neidhart’s debut for the NWA.

Just as with her appearance at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII, Neidhart came to the ring to ‘Killing in the Name’ by Rage Against the Machine.

At that event, which took place on April 17th, Kenzie Paige attacked Neidhart after her win over Miyu Yamashita — an angle that led to Saturday’s match.

A fan video shared on social media shows Neidhart appearing to get into a physical altercation at ringside after the match.

Despite the captioning of the clip, there is no evidence at the time of writing that the incident was not simply an angle with a planted “fan”.

Gail Kim had originally been billed as special guest referee for Saturday’s match but had to pull out due to illness.

The match will air on a future episode of NWA Powerrr.
