Fletcher issues a challenge for the TNT title

Adam Cole came out at the beginning of the show to thank the audience for being the best wrestling fans he has ever performed in front of. He is proud to be the TNT champion and proud of their future and plans to hold this title throughout 2025.

Kyle Fletcher interrupted Cole and said the next one hundred episodes of the future of AEW are all about him. Fletcher brings up Cole headlining All In 2023, but earlier in the night, he faced a young Aussie Open, and it was the worst night of Fletcher’s life. Now, he is a different man and “killed” that version of Fletcher and wants to make Cole feel the way he did two years ago, and challenges Cole for this year’s All In.

Daniel Garcia follows and wants the title match because he “needs” that title. Cole reminds Garcia that he beat him and will do it again. Cole says he had Fletcher’s number and still does. Cole agrees to face both at All In Texas, but Fletcher won’t be screwed and beat Garcia in the Continental Classic. Garcia says he’s been losing all his life but keeps getting up and proposes tonight’s match between them determines who faces Cole, and they agree.

Timeless Toni Storm had a taped message addressing Mercedes Moné, and that when people can’t hurt you, they hurt the people you love.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Nick Wayne vs. Kevin Knight

Knight still had his ribs taped to sell the prior attacks by The Hurt Syndicate.

Wayne tried to persuade Knight to work together, but instantly turned on him after Benjamin was sent out of the ring.

Benjamin stacked Wayne, and the cover was stopped with a springboard sunset flip by Knight on Benjamin. The audience started to get into the action when the three were going through their sequences.

Benjamin caught Wayne and powerbomed him into Knight and delivered multiple release Germans to each. Wayne hit a tope con giro and smoked Benjamin on the landing. Knight followed with a springboard clothesline to both on the floor.

Wayne hit a handspring cutter on Benjamin, but the cover was halted by a UFO Splash, allowing Knight to pin Benjamin.

WINNER: Kevin Knight in 10:32

Later in the show, it was confirmed that Christian Cage & Nick Wayne have been added to the AEW tag title match at All In Texas with The Hurt Syndicate and Jet Speed.

The Death Riders issue a challenge for the Trios belts

There was footage from after Dynamite with Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta having a message for The Opps that they are coming for the Trios titles at All In Texas.

Mark Briscoe, Hologram & Místico vs. Trent Beretta, Rocky Romero & Hechicero

They noted during the match that Místico has been added to the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In Texas.

Hologram avoided the Jackyl Driver and landed a Destroyer on Romero as a counter while the audience chanted.

Místico received the tag and sent Hechicero out of the ring with a ‘rana.

Briscoe & Hologram hit dives to the floor, and Místico finished Romero with La Mistica.

WINNERS: Místico, Hologram & Mark Briscoe in 10:08

MJF and MVP appear on the screen and call Briscoe “poor,” and MVP speaks in Spanish, referring to Místico as a “loser”. MJF said he’ll beat Briscoe before Místico can even enter the Casino Gauntlet match.

Max Caster was out for his Open Challenge and starts a “This crowd sucks” chant and places five minutes on the clock.

A video appears featuring Christopher Daniels training Scorpio Sky, along with Top Flight. Sky made his return after being away from AEW since September 2023.

Max Caster vs. Scorpio Sky w/ Christopher Daniels & Top Flight

Sky hit a Manhattan Drop and followed with a TKO for the quick victory.

WINNER: Scorpio Sky in 0:55

Scorpio received a strong reaction

Lexy Nair interviewed Ricochet and brought the camera to reveal Blake Christian & Lee Johnson decimated at the hands of the Gates of Agony.

Willow Nightingale vs. Vipress

McGuinness mentioned that Nightingale is the only female performer to appear on Collision #1 and #100. Kris Statlander was shown watching backstage and approached by Wheeler Yuta.

Nightingale landed the Pounce and won with the Babe with the Powerbomb.

WINNER: Willow Nightingale in 1:56

Renee Paquette caught up with Anthony Bowens after his loss on Dynamite, and Billy Gunn entered the scene. Gunn said he won’t become world champion overnight and these are “bumps in the road,” but Bowens wants results now and needs to win the Casino Gauntlet, so Gunn asks Bowens to trust him.

FTR vs. The Outrunners

FTR also wrestled on the first episode of Collision in June 2023. The announcers omitted who they teamed with on that inaugural episode.

Dax Harwood’s right elbow was taped up. They got the head on Turbo Floyd, and the crowd was energetic from the jump and cheering on Floyd as he made the tag to Magnum.

Floyd’s leg was placed behind the steel steps, and they kicked the steps. FTR beat on Magnum on the floor and bloodied him. There were lots of “bald” chants directed at Harwood.

FTR cut off the ring as the bloody Magnum was isolated from Floyd. Magnum dove to make the tag as Wheeler yanked Floyd to the floor.

FTR used a Razor’s Edge into a neck breaker for a big near-fall on Magnum, Harwood missed a diving head butt off the top and the hot tag was made to Floyd. The Outrunners built to the Son of a Bitch elbow drop, which elicited a loud reaction.

The Outrunners hit the Shatter Machine, but Harwood saved, and the place went wild.

Floyd fell to the Shatter Machine moments later as Wheeler pinned him. Stokley Hathaway held onto Magnum’s leg to prevent the save.

WINNERS: FTR in 18:26

This was a great match, and The Outrunners came off like big stars and not in an ironic way; everyone worked really well together.

Athena, Megan Bayne, Thekla & Julia Hart vs. Thunder Rosa, Anna Jay, Tay Melo & Queen Aminata

Melo hit a series of running kicks to Thekla in the corner and a knee strike. Jay entered and dropped Thekla from the Gori Special position into a knee by Melo.

Thunder Rosa chased Athena to the back in advance of their title match at Supercard of Honor.

Penelope Ford appeared at ringside to distract the referee and allow Skye Blue to attack Tay Melo on the floor.

Anna Jay knocked Blue and Ford off the apron, but it led to Bayne capitalizing with a running Liger Bomb for the win.

WINNERS: Megan Bayne, Athena, Thekla & Julia Hart in 10:20

There was a vignette for Alex Windsor, and coming back from a torn ACL injury. She wants to prove to her son what she had to endure, and the mission won’t end until she wins gold.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Daniel Garcia

Adam Cole and Don Callis joined the commentary team.

Garcia fist bumped Cole, and Fletcher capitalized with a superkick and lawn darted Garcia into the barricade to bust him open.

Garcia caught Fletcher in a guillotine through the ropes and connected with a German suplex on the edge of the apron. Garcia continued his attack with three running dropkicks to seated Fletcher by the barricade.

Fletcher recovered and landed a superkick and Last Ride powerbomb for a two-count. Fletcher smashed Garcia’s nose with hammer fists but ran at Garcia and caught in the Dragon Tamer. Fletcher got out, but a vertical suplex by Garcia took both men over the top to the floor.

Fletcher hit a half-and-half suplex on the floor and a brutal-looking apron bomb. Cole checked on Garcia and encouraged him to get up. Garcia beat the count but was caught with a running kick and a Brainbuster to win.

WINNER: Kyle Fletcher in 14:42

FINAL THOUGHTS

The top matches were the FTR vs. The Outrunners and Kyle Fletcher vs. Daniel Garcia. The main event did a great job of creating a clear-cut contender for the TNT title and having a dominant win without any antics or concerns about protecting the losing party, thus creating a stronger match for All In Texas.

In terms of the significance of Ep. 100, it was just another edition of the show without any specialness beyond the usual presentation of good-to-great wrestling matches.

There was more emphasis placed on All In Texas, and therefore, it wasn’t a case of matches happening in a vacuum. The audience was strong for most of the episode (and this followed a strong two hours of Dynamite, which the crowd had witnessed).

Overall, a very enjoyable show, but if time is limited, seek out the two matches recommended.
