Two names have left TNA Wrestling’s Knockouts division.
Jody Threat and Mara Sadè are no longer with the company, TNA confirmed in a press release on Monday evening. Both departures were confirmed following reports that they were possibly leaving the company.
Canadian veteran Threat had been with TNA since 2023, joining the company after establishing herself on the independent scene. Her time with the company saw her go on two runs with the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships, working alongside Dani Luna in Spitfire.
PWInsider reported on Monday that Threat had been granted her release from TNA following last weekend’s tapings in Philadelphia. She appeared on a live edition of Impact last week, losing in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Knockouts TV title tournament.
Sadè’s confirmed exit comes just days after reports surfaced that the former WWE talent had hit the free agent market.
Sadè joined TNA last year, shortly after wrapping up a run in NXT under the persona Jakara Jackson. Similar to Threat, she closed out her time with the company with an appearance at last week’s TV taping.
Along with the departures, TNA announced that “a former titleholder” will be returning to the Knockouts division soon.
