Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori are the winners of the Super Jr. Tag League tournament,

The pair secured their first Tag League victory at Power Struggle, defeating the Ichiban Sweet Boys of Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita.

In a rematch from Wrestling Redzone this past April, the members of Unbound Company avenged their title loss by defeating the 2024 Tag League winners.

The match was held to 11 minutes and 13 seconds. Highlights of the match included Robbie X’s Sky Twister Press to the floor and avoiding a Turbo Backpack from Eagles and countering with X Marks the Spot. Ishimori and Fujita had the closing sequence where Ishimori countered the Thrill Ride into an inside cradle and grabbed the pinfall.

With the Tag League winners celebrating, they were confronted by Místico. Due to partner El Desperado’s injury, the Mexican star stated they were relinquishing the belts, but he wanted a crack at the titles with a new partner. The Unbound Co. members accepted the challenge and added the Ichiban Sweet Boys to the mix with the announcement of a future three-way match for the vacant titles.

New Japan announced that El Desperado was out of the Super Jr. Tag League as he is suffering from spinal canal stenosis along with a hernia. Desperado & Místico won the titles in May at Wrestling Dontaku from Eagles & Fujita.
